YouTube Preview ImageSoccer, or as the Spaniards call it, fútbol is the national pastime of Spain. Fútbol is a big deal in Spain. Whenever there’s a fútbol game on TV everyone watches it. People go to bars to hang out with their buddies and watch the game. Those who can’t watch it on TV, such as taxi drivers, tune in to it on the radio. And every now and then, everyone screams “Gooooooooooal!”

Granada Club de FutbolGranada Club de Fútbol is Granada’s home team. Granada CF currently plays in Division 2b. They play at the new Nuevo Los Cármenes stadium which was built in 1995 and seats 16,212 people. Other teams including Real Madrid have also played in the stadium.
